Root

拥抱树,
顺着枝干伸展出花,
风共鸣它的呼吸,
经脉涌动,
一直连到根,
深埋大地。
多久前,
它还是一棵幼苗;
在那之前,
一颗种子,
忘来自何方。
它的祖先
随候鸟迁徙,
落在陌生的大陆,
生根发芽。
一直追溯——
在地底,
或海的深处,
星辰之间,
生命第一次跳动:
你在那里。
Hug the tree,
flowers stretch from its limbs,
the wind resonates with its breath.
Veins surge
down to the roots,
buried deep in the earth.
How long ago
was it just a sapling?
Before that,
a seed—
its origin forgotten.
Its ancestors
migrated with the birds,
arrived on foreign soil,
took root, and grew.
Trace it back—
into the ground,
perhaps the ocean’s depths,
or among the stars,
where life first pulsed:
you were there.
